We came to Kingswood looking for a school with strong Catholic training and academics. We found it all, plus a friendly and welcoming, almost homey, environment. My daughter made friends right away and I hope they will be lifelong friends.

There are so many reasons why we love Kingswood Academy. The academic program is challenging and individual attention can be given to the students due to the small class size. The religion program teaches the Catholic faith, not some watered down version of Catholicism. We want to know that the values and beliefs we have at home are also carried over into the school day. We don't want my children thinking that religion is something we only talk about on Sunday or amongst the family. They should be able to talk, share, and live their faith all day long. Kingswood supports the family and promotes the faith through family activities, guest speakers, and other events all year long. There are not many schools like Kingswood, and we're so happy that we found them.

We chose Kingswood because we believe very strongly that our children deserve the best education available. Kingswood Academy collaborates with us as parents because they not only stress strong academics but also incorporate character development throughout every aspect of classwork and student life. In addition, the teachers are first rate and totally dedicated to the students. We looked into many schools in the Chicagoland area before choosing Kingswood. We chose Kingswood because their reading program is phonics-based, they emphasize writing skills, and they offer a good math program where students learn their basic math facts. All of these things give students a solid background for the future. Not only is Kingswood giving our daughters a strong "back-to-basics" education, they are joining us in making sure they becomes honest, responsible, kind people. From the great enthusiasm of the teachers, to the large number of parents giving their participation and support, you can feel the sense of community and spirit. Everyone within the school is working to give Kingswood students an intellectual and moral foundation that will last them a lifetime.
