As a Kingswood alumna, I credit the intellectual and spiritual formation I received here as the foundation for my success in the Great Books program at the University of Notre Dame and my current work as an award-winning Catholic writer and editor for Aleteia. When it came time to choose a school for my own children, I wanted them to experience the same environment, rooted in truth and our Catholic faith, that shaped me. Watching them engage with great ideas, ask deep questions, and grow in virtue confirms that decision every day. At Kingswood, their hearts are set on heaven, and the entire community—teachers, families, and friends—journeys beside them, pointing the way and cheering them on. Kingswood isn't just educating their minds; it's forming their souls for a lifetime of seeking the true, the good, and the beautiful.

Kingswood Academy is a second family to me. For example, Kingswood Academy has helped me build strong friendships not only with students but with teachers that have taught all of my older siblings. Kingswood challenges me both academically and spiritually. Because of the strong Catholic community and education, I want to keep pursuing my faith as I go on to a Catholic high school.

Kingswood Academy has really formed me in my faith and knowledge, and without it I wouldn't be the person I am today–striving for virtue, persevering, and being ready to defend my Catholic faith. Kingswood also has a great balance of work and fun, and I was good friends with many students, even those outside of my grade. Because the teachers pushed me to my full potential and encouraged me to succeed, I was fully prepared for high school.

When I was at Kingswood, I didn't just go to a normal school. I went to my second family. From the moment I walked through those doors, I realized that this school was different: the small class sizes, the way the teachers helped you through all your struggles and challenges, and getting to know everyone on a deep and personal level. My time at Kingswood helped shape and change me into the person I am today. I left Kingswood ready to face the world and all its struggles more prepared than I could have ever been. And for that I'm grateful to my parents for sending me there and the teachers for showing me the path I needed to take.
